Teacher Love with Self-Care (Music Teacher Tip #34)

Tips

Are you ready to show yourself some teacher love with self-care?

After needing to simplify some things for a while and taking a break from music teacher tips, I am back and excited to be back! I made a slight adjustment to the name to better align with my personal experiences. It is now called, “Music Teacher Tips for the Independent Music Teacher”. While I will be sharing tips as an independent music teacher, most of these tips can be applied in many different teaching scenarios, just like in tips past.

While I was pondering what I would talk about for the first teacher tip back, self-care screamed out to me. And what a better month than February than to talk about and show ourselves some Teacher Love.

As you know, teaching can be challenging and demanding. It’s important for teachers to prioritize self-care in order to maintain well-being. In music teacher tip #34, I thought I would break it down to 10 self-care tips. These tips won’t be anything new you haven’t heard before. But my hope is that you will hear whatever you are needing at this time in your teaching life.

Have you missed the previous music teacher tips? You can find them on the blog (with a few written preface thoughts) or go straight to the YouTube playlist to catch up!
