Music with Sara Bibee –
I can’t wait to use these with my general music middle school students. Contrary to the other feedback saying that the pieces are all the same size, I am happy to have this feature when reviewing. It helps me know that my students actually KNOW how to spell chords rather than finding pieces that just “fit”. That type of activity would be fantastic for a sub or fun activity, but for assessment purposes, I am happy the pieces are all the same. I have a chord building handout that I give my students that will be perfect in accompaniment to this resource. Thank you so much for taking the time to make it. 🙂

This is a wonderful product. A great way to assess if my students really know all the major and minor chords. Thanks!

Thank you Brittany!

What a cute idea! I can see this working well in centers as a way to practice chords, or in piano lessons. Thanks so much!

Thanks Aileen, enjoy!
Buyer –
I just purchased these for my group lesson on major and minor chords. Once I printed them I realized they all fit each other so how is this a puzzle???? What do you do with them when every puzzle piece fits to all the others instead of each chord fitting only to the correct answer? I am thoroughly confused and not happy that I just spent $5 on something I am probably not going to use.

I’m sorry you were confused. I’m not sure what you were expecting as the sample preview clearly shows that they fit together. The two parts are intended to be mixed up amongst all the chords and students find the matching puzzle piece. (This can also show how well they really know their notes) So after you cut them up you mix them all up and are to Match that A Major chord to the word A Major chord. You can even use it more as a memory game if you think that is too easy or use it simply as a bulletin board tool. Another idea I just had is have them put them in the order of the circle of 5ths. There is a lot of ways to implement these simple puzzles. I would have appreciated a private message first before you rated, but you are welcome to request a refund from TpT. Visit their FAQ’s on how to request that.
