Description

Bring the excitement of basketball into your music lessons with Music Basketball Interval Match Up! This fun music theory game helps students strengthen their interval pattern skills while having fun matching intervals to the correct musical interval baskets.
 
Students will identify melodic or harmonic patterns on their basketball to the correct basket labeled with the intervals unison through octave. It’s a hands-on activity that turns interval recognition practice into a fun musical challenge.
 
With multiple ways to play, this versatile game works perfectly for private piano lessons, group classes, music camps, and music centers.
 
Three Ways to Play:
🏀 Slide the Shot – Use the basketballs without borders and slide them through the basket printout for a fun “swish” effect.
🏀 Match the Basket – Use the bordered basketballs and place them directly on the correct music interval basket.
🏀 Shoot to Score – Turn learning into a mini game of basketball! Students can shoot the note basketballs into a real or tabletop hoop after identifying the correct letter name. (suggestions included)
