Rhythm MUSIC Basketball

Bring energy, movement, and rhythm review together with Rhythm Music Basketball! This engaging activity combines the excitement of the classic basketball game HORSE with rhythm practice to create a highly motivating learning experience for your students.

Students must first correctly identify a rhythm pattern before they earn the chance to take a basketball shot. If the shot is successful, the other players must correctly read a rhythm strip and then attempt to match the same shot. Miss the rhythm or miss the shot? That player earns a letter. The last player standing without spelling MUSIC wins!

This game is perfect for reinforcing rhythm skills while keeping students active and engaged. Perfect for March Madness or should we say Music Madness? Also, great for group classes, camps, studio parties, and fun lesson days.
