Description

Secret Student compliment cards are meant to encourage kindness.

  • Suggestion 1: Have each student draw another name and that name becomes their secret student or “buddy”. They can give them a compliment card and write a special note on the back. They can do “secret” good deeds for them, etc…
  • Suggestion 2: Have the compliment cards easily accessible. When a student wants to send a compliment someone’s way, they just write a little note on the back and can give it to them personally or as a “secret”.

Enjoy spreading kindness!

These cards are so cute! I actually use them when my students need a break from the classroom. I have them deliver these cards to staff members around the school. Both students and adults love them 🙂

This was an easy way for students to give each other a compliment on World Kindness Day. It is sometimes hard for kindergarten students to know what to say.

First I printed the compliments on different colored cards and cut them apart. I passed out the cards after reading them to the class. Then I encouraged them to give a card to someone they don’t usually sit with. I was very sweet watching them think about who they wanted to give a card. I emphasized that everyone should receive a card.

I also handed out some extra cards randomly and told the students they could give a card to any adult they see in the hall just make sure only one person gives a card to that person. They were very proud of themselves.

    • Jennifer Foxx –

Awe, I LOVE that so much, Rebecca! Thank you for sharing! 🙂
