Description
****Please note that The Nutcracker Bingo is INCLUDED in the Nutcracker Music Camp or Workshop resource****
This set includes 20 bingo boards and the name cards. If you have more than 20 students, just have them partner up. Also included are big versions of the name cards if you want to display them from a projector.
I like to use Nutcracker bingo when students are watching the Nutcracker Ballet on DVD. Regardless how you use it, students enjoy playing!
***PLEASE NOTE*** The bingo cards themselves are not labeled. It is helpful to go through the name cards first before playing the game. Or you can show/project the cards to students as they are playing the game.

Perfect sub tub activity. I wish the pictures were labeled. I had to use the SmartBoard to display the picture that was called. Great resource, though.

Thanks Mary. Glad to hear your students enjoyed it. In the future be sure to just send me a Q and A for things you “wish” for versus rating it based on a “wish” when it clearly shows it isn’t that way in the preview pictures. 😉 I actually didn’t label the bingo boards on purpose (however if enough request it in the Q and A, I may re-consider), but you did give me a thought for something else that I’ll add to the file soon.

Fun game to leave with sub!
Marta K. –
Perfect! Thanks. ; )

So excited to play this with the kids.
Jennifer Foxx –
Yay! I hope they enjoy it!

I wish I would have noticed the pictures on the cards didn’t have labels. So, for example, when I called mouse king…it would have been helpful to have mouse king written under the pic so students would know which pic was mouse king
Jennifer Foxx –
Rhonda- thanks for your feedback though I also wish you would have contacted me through the Q and A. Ratings should not be based on “wishes” as it does clearly show in the previews that the labels on the students cards are not there. Please keep this in mind. I did this on purpose though I may consider adding that option in the future. One solution is to put the labeled card on a PowerPoint projector so students can see what each character is.

This was a great addition to our “Everything Nutcracker” Christmas Camp this year. We played it until everyone cleared their boards with bingos. I told the story from a picture book while we played and the kids loved it! I can’t wait to show the ballet and see how they play it to that.
Jennifer Foxx –
Love that! Thanks for sharing! 🙂
Tammy C. –

Never got an opportunity to use with students.

It’s okay, there is always this year! 🙂

We love these! We perform the Nutcracker every year with half the characters (mice, soldiers, reed flute dancers, Russian dancers, etc…). The kids were really excited to learn that there were MORE characters! The cute graphics really inspired their imagination, especially the ones “moving” like the Trepak dance. All the classes said that they enjoyed this activity when they had a sub. Nice job!
Jennifer Foxx –
That is awesome! How fun that your students get to perform it every year. I bet they really look forward to that. I’m so glad they enjoyed the activity. Thank you so much for your comment, Sydney! 🙂

My students love this game! I’ve played with K-4 and all enjoy it. The large pictures work well to put on the board with a magnet—this keeps me from having to repeat the characters over and over. The pictures are very colorful too. Thank you for such a great resource.
Jennifer Foxx –
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback, Rebecca! I am thrilled your students love the game! 🙂
