Interval Poke Cards are a great way for students to assess themselves and encourage independent learning when reviewing musical intervals. Have a big group of students? Divide into stations! Students simply “poke” in the correct answer and look on the correct intervals for their answers.

Interval Poke Cards are a great way for students to assess themselves and encourage independent earning when reviewing musical intervals. Have a big group of students? Divide into stations!

Students simply “poke” in the correct answer and look on the back to see if they were correct. An answer key and optional recording sheet is included.

Time Saver Tip: These DO take prep time. If you don’t want to hole punch and have students poke through their answer, “clip it” instead. Take a clothespin or clip of some kind and have them clip over their answer and check it on the back.

There are 3 print options to choose from: Full color, lightly colored and b/w. (B/W recently added. If you don’t see it in your file, re-download)

    How my students love poke cards! They come out at random times in piano lessons. I’m thinking that we need to do this in group with the many sets and do a timed “poke off” between teams!

    I am a private piano teacher in my home and have used these cards for my students. My older students enjoyed the self check aspect of the cards. I’ve had the older students work through the cards while they are waiting for their lesson to begin. Great resource for self learning. I’ve also used them with the younger grades and have had them work through cards while I’m writing out their assignment. Gives them something hands on to do while I’m focused on their lesson assignment and then we work through their answers afterward.
