One set of cards will have a couple different facts about composers so that the students can learn a lot about these composers.

Composer Poke Cards are a great way for students to assess themselves and encourage independent earning when facts about 36 different composers. Who Am I will be the question they are answering. One set of cards will have a couple different facts about the composer and the other set of cards will have the time period and picture of the composer. I created two different picture sets (cartoon version and regular version) for you to choose from.
Have a big group of students? Divide into stations!
Students simply "poke" in the correct answer and look on the back to see if they were correct. An answer key and optional recording sheet is included.
Time Saver Tip: These DO take prep time. If you don't want to hole punch and have students poke through their answer, "clip it" instead. Take a clothespin or clip of some kind and have them clip over their answer and check it on the back.
