Heading to UMTA!

Utah teachers! I’m heading your way in November! Yippee!

I am really excited to be a guest clinician for the upcoming UMTA conference, November 2-3rd at the beautiful, Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah. The theme for the conference is, “Our World of Music”

I will be presenting 4 sessions at the conference:

  • Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram… Oh My!
  • Create an Invitation to Learn! Promoting Understanding and Engagement
  • Getting Over the Fear of Teaching Online; Creating Win-Win’s for Your Studio
  • Inspire and Motivate Your Students in Group Lessons

I lived in West Jordan for a year while building our house in Tooele, where we lived for 8 years. Lots of great memories! Matter of fact, it was when I lived in Tooele that I joined MTNA! It will be fun to see old friends and make new friends too! Thanksgiving Point, where the conference is held is a place that I loved to visit while I was there and I am looking forward to seeing how much it has changed. It’s been 12 years since I lived in Utah! Time surely does fly!

If you live in Utah or even close to Utah, I hope to see you there! Let me know! Registration is now open for the conference. You can find out all the information on the UMTA website, here.

Jennifer, we are so excited to have you come share your expertise with us this year! Can’t wait! And you’ll be shocked at the growth around Thanksgiving Point!
    See ya in November! ??

  2. Angela McBride

Jennifer, your topics all sound so interesting! So glad you are coming to share your knowledge with us in Utah! Welcome back! (My husband is from Tooele–his grandmother was in UMTA for a long time before she passed–do you remember a Florence McBride?) It will be nice to meet you in person soon!

    • Jennifer Foxx

Hi Angela, I do remember Florence! I’m so sorry to hear of her passing. Looking forward to meeting you as well!
