A few weeks ago I found out that a couple of my students who have been with me for almost 9 years have started to hang out together outside of piano. The boys are both 15 years old and go to different high schools. They have grown up with each other in my studio getting to know each other at group lessons and camps and have become really good friends outside the studio.

Then this morning I found out that 3 of my students are putting together a summer band with a couple other friends. How fun is that?
