So I briefly mentioned this MIDI interface on a recent post and wanted to talk about it a little more.

After I read this article from Technology in Music Education about the Quicco Sound mi.1 wireless bluetooth MIDI interface on sale on Amazon, I decided to do a bit more digging because I was very excited and curious.

Turns out that this product was originally on Indiegogo and was funded. How I didn’t hear about it back then is beyond me. Every time I have tried to support funded projects, they haven’t been able to reach their goal, so this was exciting for me to see.

After watching the video on the Indiegogo site, I immediately put it in my cart and bought it. I’m looking forward to using this in my lab room when students are hooked up to the headphones and won’t need to worry about the connection staying in place on the iPad. You simply stick the interface on the keyboard MIDI ports and set up the bluetooth and you are good to go. No wires! Yay!

Once I receive it, I’ll do a review on it. But for now, it is on sale at Amazon for $45.00 on Prime. Check it out here.
