FREE Garageband Workshops!

Today Apple and Guitar Center began a partnership to offer weekly workshops (4 in total) every Saturday at every store from 10-11am teaching customers how to use a Mac and the GarageBand application to record music.  And what makes this even better, it’s FREE!

I have an iMac and just had to take advantage of this offer.  The great thing about this is if you missed the first one, you can catch it in 4 weeks, because every 4 weeks they will rotate the classes again!  I was so glad for that because my recital is next Saturday and I will miss the 2nd class; so I’ll just catch it the next time around.

Hear are the topics they will be covering in the classes.

– Intro to Computer Recording & Signal Flow/Microphone Techniques

– Virtual Instruments and Loops

– Effects

– Mixing and Publishing

You’ll want to pre-register for these classes so you can make sure you have a spot in the class.  You can pre-register and found out more information here.

Happy Recording!
