I adapted the flash cards to a Power Point presentation so that I could use the information and materials to create a slide show for a Zoom group lesson. I think the illustrations really helped to keep the student’s attention and retain information for the ensuing Trivia Quiz

Perfect Linda! Thanks for sharing!

Made my time capsule using an oatmeal container. Used it as one of my composer centers. Students enjoyed the novelty and seeing women were/are composers too!
Jennifer Foxx –
Love it! So happy to hear that, Amy! Thank you! 🙂

Each group piano class last school year focused on a female composer. This resource added so much to our class. Music Educator Resources is always my first stop for all things composer related.
Jennifer Foxx –
Awe… love it! Thank you, Tammy! 🙂

I use these Composer Time Capsules for group classes with my piano students. They enjoy learning about a new composer several times per year, and the visuals and the clue card memory game helps the ideas to stick. We enjoy dividing up into teams to do the Kahoot, and the competition can get quite intense! I check every year to see if there are new composers to stock up on!
Jennifer Foxx –
Yay, thanks Elizabeth! I’m so glad you are enjoying them. 🙂
