Happy New Year!

Misc., Musings

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. My hope is that you 1) took a break and 2) spent at least some of it not doing anything related to teaching. If you didn’t, make it a goal this year to do exactly that, perhaps this summer. Breaks are not only good for us teachers, but they are equally beneficial for our students.

Over the years, I have written several posts on burnout. If you are feeling a bit of burnout, you are not alone. Burnout is very real and more common than you know. Here is a link to several posts that might help.

It’s that time of year! Here are a couple freebies for you to use your students as they reflect on 2017 and make new goals for 2018!

Speaking of freebies, the January newsletter went out this morning so be sure to check your email for the monthly freebie. The password to download the freebie is directly above the download button.

I’m looking forward to a fabulous 2018! My goal this year is to do some more “stretching.” I’ll be blogging more on that soon so be on the lookout. Happy Teaching!
