Thank you…

Misc., Tips

I just wanted to say thank you to those who bought the Reach Beyond the Stars Practice Incentive program and also those who bought the board game alone. I hope your students enjoy it. Since this is the program that I am also doing with my own students this year I will be posting pictures, etc… of what we are doing, so stay tuned. You may want to also follow my studio Facebook page, Foxx Piano Studio as well as the blog Facebook page, FPSResources.

For those who did download the file, I made a couple updates (latest update this morning). One was changing out the word file of the editable mission assignments to powerpoint. Word tends to garble things up when files are transferred, the powerpoint shouldn’t have any issues. The other updates was removing a word (“to”) in the mission advancement log under crewman. You can download these updates just by going to “My TpT, then look for “My Purchases” in your TpT account and re-download.

Also a big thank you to all those who took the time to follow me on TpT. I am now at 67 followers! Yay! I mentioned before when I reach 150 that I will do a fan freebie over on the Facebook page, but I think I will do it when we reach the first 100 because I’m really anxious to get it out to everyone! So please tell your music/piano friends to follow so we can get to 100!

Another review is coming later today so stay tuned!!!

A couple questions now that I’ve been looking at my purchase……… 1) the practice chart will take an INCREDIBLE amount of black ink, won’t it?? Is there an alternative, for instance give us a version in color except on a white background. 2)did you include the banner you mentioned for posting the rockets of progress? Hi Alice, unfortunately the solar system clipart I used was either an all or nothing kind of thing. I could make a black and white version. The planets just won’t be in color either. What I am doing with mine is sending it to a printers because it will be much cheaper for them to print out (and better quality) then it will be for me to print. If you would like me to do a black and white version, let me know. I’ll just need a few days or so…

Oh and yes the progress chart is included. The file is called Reach Beyond the Stars Progress Poster/Banner. That is the file I used to do the medium poster through VistaPrint. My order should be coming in this week, so when it gets here, I’ll post a picture of it on the blog so you can see how it turned out. Feel free to email me directly: [email protected] if you have any other questions.

I’ve purchased Reach beyond the Stars thank you. I can’t seem to find the info about ordering badges.
And my second question is about the BL ACK background……is that all ink?! Or is it printed on black paper?
Do you a cost per packet that you paid?
And if I loaded the program on my laptop , can I also load it on my iPad ?

Alice, the badge info is in the Note for Teachers file. Let me know ASAP if you want to order any and how many. Yes, that is a black background. I did make a black and white (no background) version of the practice chart. I had emailed it to you after your original request and also updated it on TpT. The other 2 pages that are in color I can’t adapt. I paid $3.07 (+tax) per student booklet at my printers. Mine included 31 pages of assignment sheets. Call around to get the best quote in your area. Yes, any of the pdf files you can transfer to your iPad. iBooks or whatever pdf reader you have. 😉

Also a little tip- If you are a member of MTNA and have an OfficeDepot- you can get REALLY good printing discounts there. Here is the link:
