Description
Brain breaks are the perfect cards to use when you notice students are no longer engaged. Or maybe you would like to use them as a reward for doing so well!
These brain breaks include a variety of quick movement, improvisation, creativity and quick wins! Simply have them take a brain break by choosing a card and following the directions. Use as many and as often as needed.
48 brain breaks in both color or black in white are included. Age and levels of the brain break activities will vary. If you find that a student chooses a brain break that may be a little too “young” or “old” for them, just have them pick another card. No biggie!
Have a brain break idea you want to see added? Let me know in the Q & A. After I receive 4 suggestions, I will update the file with the new cards! In the meantime, I do include some blank cards that you can add to.

These Music Brain Breaks are lots of fun! There are activities for all age groups and even blank cards to create your own or have the students make suggestions! And many of them can be used for online teaching which is a real plus right now! I’ve used them to start the lesson, in the middle of the lesson for a break, and at the end as something fun to do to leave ’em smiling! Definitely recommend these!

I love this idea of this set, but I find the background of the cards visually distracting. I would prefer a simpler layout for this use.
Edited: The update is sooo much better! Thank you!

Susan, in the future, can you please email me directly and let me know? This would have been an easy fix. Thanks!
***UPDATED! I hope you like it. 🙂
