Review: Practice Habits

I am a huge fan of giving students a variety of music and lots of it! I believe it helps with their sight-reading and reading skills as well as their motivation. Because of this, I like to subscribe to different digital sheet music subscription services. This last summer, I joined the Practice Habits community.

Chris Owenby is the composer/arranger of all the music you can find inside Practice Habits. You can read more about him here. What makes Practice Habits a little different from some of the other music subscriptions is that Chris includes more than sheet music. Of course, it was the sheet music that initially drew me in, but he also includes exercises, lead sheets, practice guides and membership to his facebook group.

Everything is studio licensed which means you can download and print unlimited copies for your students. Every month there is something new to try with your students.

In this video, I share why I enjoy being a part of the practice habits community.

There are 3 packages to choose from. The annual package is for piano teachers who want to save money by paying for the full year up front. The monthly package is for piano teachers who want all of the value of the annual plan but need a more affordable option. And then there is a sheet music only option for piano teachers who want to try out some of the membership community perks.

I would highly recommend trying it out! Chris is constantly adding new material to keep our students motivated!
